  It is truly a shame when people write negative things like the above. I am the pastor. I picked this gentlemen up on freeway off ramp when he called the church for help. I bought him lunch at McDonalds. I took him to another church, the Well, that helps people out with free food and got him approximately $100 worth of free groceries. I drove him to Tracy, about 20 miles away, to the hotel in which he was staying and paid his outstanding balance plus two more nights to stay. I also gave him $5 in cash to do his laundry. I prayed with him and told him that that was all we could do for him. Two days later, he called one of our Elders at the Elder's home. I don't know how this guy got the number. He asked the Elder's wife for $160 in cash. She called me and I called the guy back on his cell. He didn't answer, so I left a message telling him that it was not appropriate to call Elders at home and ask them for help, especially when he had the church number to call. Does that sound like a jerk to you?
